This course interweaved three concepts to encourage interdisciplinary learning and further develop each students' respective creative practices e.g. coding, illustration, and arts and crafts. In this class students learned the fundamentals of creative coding, investigating mathematical logic, and practicing space activation and placemaking through a combination of self-reading and video tutorials, class discussions and activities, and small projects.

The culmination of this course involved producing a poster—incorporating all that they've learned throughout—for a student art gallery hosted at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) centering an audience of young kids and/or their caretakers. The goal was to have a tangible, portfolio-ready asset to share with their peers, instructor, and the general public.
