About: Initiating a renaming process guided by community engagement with key Madison High School stakeholders.

Process: Our group of 19 comprised of students, staff, and alumni; as directed by PPS Renaming Policy, they were led by a PPS Community Engagement Specialist and Madison’s principal. The group provided a recommendation for the Board’s final decision.

I collaborated with my peers to collect community input, analyze our data, and develop name recommendations based on our findings. We successfully changed the high school’s name to Leodis V. McDaniel High School. For more information, visit: https://mhsrenamingproject.wixsite.com/home
